Badges seem to be on the up. It hadn’t occurred to me previously that badges might be useful within a degree program if they were attached to measurable outcomes that correspond to standards that need to be met for professional certification. Collect the full set of badges, perhaps backed by an portfolio, and the required standards are demonstrably met.
Looks like a useful tool for presenting lesson guides to learners on the web. That would avoid pieces of paper and should improve the flow for learners.
